Highs And Lows Of The U.S. Economy Since 1999
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/10/30/geography-of-jobs_n_6069856.html
"America has been through a roller coaster ride of job creation and job loss over the last 15 years. But sometimes it can be difficult to really grasp just how wild that ride has been.
This map, which was created by TIP Strategies, an economic development consulting firm, will certainly help you do that. The map charts annual job growth and job loss in every metro area in the country between 1999 and 2014. The size of the bubbles corresponds to the net number of jobs gained or lost. Blue bubbles represent overall gains and red, losses.
Press play to start the visualization, and scroll over the bubbles to see the exact job stats for each city."

The Happiest Countries
These Are The World's Happiest Countries (Think the US Made It?)
"The World Happiness Report has spoken, and this is how they rank the happiest countries in the world. They weighed factors like longevity, social services and freedom – and although everyone has their own ideas of what makes people happy, the list is rather revealing."

Wealthiest Women By State (includes link to Wealthiest Americans By State)
Here Is The Richest Woman In Each State
"When we think about the most powerful women in America, names like Oprah Winfrey, Janet Yellen, and Sheryl Sandberg come to mind. But measure sheerly by the size of their bank accounts, and a different group of women top the charts.
This map from the real estate blog Movoto displays the net worth of the richest female resident in each U.S. state. Darker shades of blue reflect those at the richest end of the wealth spectrum. Darker reds correlate with lesser net worth. Lighter shades of both indicate something closer to the middle."

PARTNER MURDERS IN THE US BY STATE
"It's a sobering fact. At least one third of all female homicide victims in the U.S. are killed by male intimate partners -- husbands and ex-husbands, boyfriends and estranged lovers. While both men and women experience domestic violence, the graphics below should put to rest the myth that abuse occurs equally to both sexes."
